Herbalist, student of the plants, and lifelong learner from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northeast Georgia.
My herbal journey began several years ago when I felt a deep urge to stop reaching outside myself and my home for healing. I wanted to know how to support my body and my family using the old ways, the wisdom passed down through generations before us. Honestly, I felt a strong pull to live like it was the 1600s.
Since I was 13, I have always felt drawn to the earth and to spirit. I knew there was something in the land that could heal me and help me grow. For years I went back and forth between what the world expected of me and what the mountains were quietly calling me toward. Now here I am in my late 30s, with two almost grown kids, finally listening.
Along the way I began making my own body care. Bath bombs, scrubs, herbal infused blends. That opened the door to something much deeper. Tinctures, teas, salves, energetic healing work. From there I dove into medicinal herbs, food as medicine, and the traditional ways our ancestors worked with plants every single day.
I have been through a few business names, but in 2025, my hardest year to date, Spirit of the Ridge came to me and it felt like home. That is exactly what I want this space to feel like for you.
I am still learning. I think I always will be. The plants keep teaching me, the seasons keep humbling me, and I keep showing up. My work sits at the place where the physical and the spiritual meet, because I have learned that healing rarely lives in just one of those places.
Come as you are. The Ridge is patient.
